Boaz is very excited to offer this new workshop that looks at modern rendering approaches with insight and techniques commonly used for CG lighting and lighting effects. The workshop demonstrates how you may adapt new techniques while still applying common workflows you may be used to from other rendering packages. The class also looks in detail at shooting HDR images for lighting with Arnold, alongside examples with other standalone tools that are available to support these workflows.
This is an intermediate to advanced workshop suitable for experienced CG users who are familiar with other rendering applications and want to learn more about Arnold. Recorded mostly with Maya with some Softimage comparisons and examples, including ICE.
Throughout the course there will be a mix of detailed coverage for advanced topics, such as subsurface scattering, simulating surface materials and linear workflows, as well as samples demonstrating how Arnold is used in production.
*Students of this workshop will receive a free 10-week, time limited Arnold student license*
