David Luong
In 2005, David earned his BFA from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, California, specializing in matte painting and compositing. Shortly after David began at Disney Toon Studios as a background painter, and from this went onto to work at Luma Pictures on Underworld: Evolution as a digital paint artist. David also worked for Rhythm & Hues Studios where he finished shots for Garfield 2, Superman Returns, and Night at the Museum. More information >>

Boaz Livny
Boaz Livny is a CG artist / TD and author of mental ray for Maya, 3ds max, and XSI: A 3D Artist’s Guide to Rendering. He is passionate about photography, and currently specializes in the photography aspects of 3D lighting, rendering, and compositing. Steve Wright
Steve Wright is a 20-year visual effects veteran with 70 broadcast television commercials and over 60 feature film credits. Steve first started working in 3D animation at Robert Abel and Associates in Hollywood. He and his partner had a visual effects studio in Hollywood for seven years producing 3D animation and high-end visual effects compositing using the Pixar computer, first for commercials then for feature films. Don Seegmiller
Don Seegmiller has been painting professionally for over 21 years and has travelled extensively, demonstrating Metacreations Painter 6 for the many of the major trade shows. His work is featured in the Painter 6, 7, 8, and IX Wow Books, Step by Step Electronic Design, Design Graphics, and both Spectrum 7 and 8. e of Painter IX, featured both on the Corel web site and in the Painter IX manual.

Paul Fedor
For the last 4 years, Paul Fedor has been working with the research and development team for Sony PlayStation. He teamed up with Academy Award Post Supervisor Nick Brooks, and Mathew Lamb PHD as a consulting team for PlayStation cinematics and pipelines. His focus was pushing the standards for next generation characters for the launch of PlayStation 3 with his work and research centered on perfecting a photo-real digital. His work and research involves perfecting the photo-real digital character and by doing so changing the way video games are made. Together with Hong Suc Suh (Ex-ILM), Paul helped develop and integrate a next-generation ZBrush pipeline for Sony that produces characters for 1/3 the price as PlayStation 2 characters with 100 times the quality. He was the beta tester for many proprietary tools for Sony PlayStation's gaming standards. More information >>

Brian Pohl
Brian J. Pohl is co-owner and pre-visualization supervisor of Persistence of Vision Digital Entertainment (P.O.V.).
He has served as the previsualization lead/supervisor on I,Robot and Stealth at Digital Domain. Brian is trained and experienced in a number of 3D animation and compositing packages and during his spare time, occasionally teaches classes on Maya and previsualization at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Los Angeles.
